What they are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We also use the browser's local storage (localStorage, IndexedDB), which works in a similar way.
Technical cookies and data
They keep things working and need no consent: the language you picked on the website, your answer to the cookie banner, and in the app your library, playlists, settings and account sign-in. They stay in your browser.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Tangofy is free thanks to Google AdSense ads. Google may use cookies and identifiers to show and measure them. Google's script is present in the pages, but no ad is requested until you press "Accept". The website uses no other profiling cookies and no analytics. For details see how Google uses cookies in advertising. Paid accounts and the desktop app show no ads.
Changing your choice
On the website you can reopen the banner any time from Cookie settings, at the bottom of every page. In the app, the choice is cleared with the browser's site data. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. More about your data in the data notice.
